I have installed the plugin Cookie Consent and it created a new page with privacy information. However, on this page the footer has been moved to the middle of the page and in front of my side bar. Is there a way to move the footer back to the end of the page?

The conflict caused by a third party plugin is outside of our support scope and we are not able to give support regarding this.
But the effect you are describing is usually because of a wrong HTML code at the end, for example, a tag which is not closed correctly and that sort of problems which causes the problem.
You will need to double check for such problems and if you can not find the issue please contact the plugin developer.
