Placeholder content for Dynamic Content (Feature Request?)

Is there a way to assign placeholder content to a piece of Dynamic Content if no content exists while building pages and layouts?

Example:

I’m building some page layouts for Learnpress courses in the Pro builder - seems to be working great! However, if I want to place a “Featured Image” somewhere it will not pull anything because it’s technically not tied to any “Courses” at the moment.

My current workflow is building out the layouts using static content until I get it looking the way I want, then just going back through and replacing with Dynamic Content.

It would be great to have the ability to populate with placeholder content to streamline the design and build process.

Regretfully there is no option at the moment, I have added it to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
