Place clickable button widget in sidebar

Good morning,

I have searched extensively for a solution that appears to be very very simple, so now I come to you. I would like to simply place a button in my right sidebar to take people to my external Patreon page. At the moment I was able to put a text/html widget in that says “become a patron”. I would like that to be a larger button like the rest on my site. If that is not possible then I would settle for it being a clickable image. here is the link to my page. I hope you can help me. Thank you for your time in advance.

Here is how I would do this.

Create a temp page in cornerstone, create your clickable button and save, then choose “exit to dashboard”, and load the page you just created, choose visual tab, then copy the button short code into your text widget and it should work fine.

Hope it helps you. Regards, Ed Sanders

THANK YOU!.. actually with your suggestion i kind of shortcut that and went to the integrity demo area for short codes http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/buttons/#example and it worked like a charm.
thanks again!

Very glad you got it sorted out! I don’t always do things the easiest way…

more than one way to skin the cat here. there does seem to be a hiccup with what i am seeing in my widget live preview and what is showing up on another browser and my phone. has not been updated yet. odd. i guess i will have to wait a bit to see if it does

Hi there,

If you encounter cases that you change something in admin and it does not preview correctly in the front end it is most possibly a cache issue. Take the steps below in such cases:

  1. If you have a cache plugin make sure you purge the cache
  2. If your hosting service provider has cache settings make sure you purge cache from their admin panel, to make sure contact them for detailed instructions
  3. Clear your browser cache, check the website with another machine which you have never checked the website with.
  4. If you use cache and performance services such as CloudFlare, make sure you purge the cache from their admin panel.

Thank you.
