Pinterest Data Pin Description for Image Element

Hi - I would like to add the Pinterest Data Pin Description for my images on my website in the image element (vs creating a text box or HTML element).

<img src="https://yourwebsite.com/image-url.jpg "alt = “Describe the image for visually impaired users using Google SEO friendly text” data-pin-description = “Compelling descriptive copy | Call to action | keywords | hashtags” />

Is it possible to add that the ‘data-pin-description’ into the Custom Attributes section of the Image element? Or do you have any other suggestions? Thank you.

Hi @ywoolf,

Thanks for reaching out!

If you add the custom attribute in the image element it will be added to the span container of an image, it will not directly be attached to the image. Regretfully, there’s no option in our theme to add a custom attribute directly to the image. I suggest that you just add it using an HTML code or you may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Thanks for the quick reply
