Picture at top of page for no reason

Why is there a picture in the top of this page? There isnt even a section with a picture in it.

The picture on top is the featured image of your page.

You can remove it from here

Is there a way to leave it there but not have it appear on the page when it has a side menu?

It is technically possible with some custom development, however it would be outside our scope of the support. You try contacting a developer or a service to implement more specific functionalities.
