Pics Not Displaying in Media Library

Hi,
I’m not sure how big of a problem this is but my pictures are not displaying in my media library.

Any idea why that could be? They were there yesterday.

My images are back.

Glad to hear that.

Hello @quituck

Thanks.

Okay. Can you look into my media library again. I’m not sure why my images display sometimes and others there are no images. It just shows a loading icon as shown in the image. I can’t upload images during this time either.

Hi There @quituck

I have tried to troubleshoot your issue with the given information, but I couldn’t. Basically I have used this plugin called health check (https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/) which allows to disable all the plugins without affecting your live site. But it doesn’t load your media library even after disabling your plugins.

Since you’re using CloudFlare, it’s hard to troubleshoot this issue further. I would suggest you to clear CloudFlare cache and disable it temporarily while you’re troubleshooting this issue.

Also this issue could be hosting related as well. So I would suggest you to check with them as well, because they have full access to your error logs.

Hope that helps.

I ended up restoring a backup of the site to fix this issue. However, I have another problem. I can’t seem to edit my cornestone content. Can you please look into it? I deleted all of my plugins and can’t get it to work. I’m getting an iFrame error.

Hello There,

We have tried to access the functions.php and header.php of your child theme in Appearance > Editor. Every time we click on the file, it redirects to a 404 page. Please provide us FTP access so that we can check all your child theme files which may have cause a fatal error in the Cornerstone preview area.

Best Regards.

Sure. Thank you!

Hi @quituck,

Thank you for the FTP information. I checked the case and the problem was not the Child Theme. But another I did another test and the problem is one of the plugins that you have installed.

I disabled all plugins except Cornerstone and the pages worked with no problem and I could edit the pages and the error did not show. Then I enabled all the plugins and the problem came back again.

So you need to test for the plugin conflict. Please disable all the plugins except the Cornerstone. Then enable the plugins one by one and test the Cornerstone on each step. That way you will find the plugin which is causing the conflict.

Thank you.
