PHP update

Wordpress prompts out a message advising me to update to PHP 7.4
I’d like to make sure if my theme (Church) is compatible with that version of PHP. Thak you!

You can update your PHP version to 7.4+ Please note you have updated themes and plugins. I would also suggest you take backup for your site files and database before updating the PHP version.

Seems a bit risky to update PHP. Is it okay if I don’t do that?

Hey @Joyce82,

The oldest PHP version our themes and builders support is 5.6.20 so you still can hold off updating to 7.4 for now but it would be best that you copy your live site to a staging server and test out the compatibility of your whole site with PHP 7.4.
