Hi Dwayne,
Thanks for reaching out.
The PHP version might be the reason behind your issue, I would suggest you upgrade the PHP version to 7.4 by contacting your Hosting Service provider and checking if that issue resolves or not.
If that does not helps, please deactivate and delete the X and re-install it by downloading it from your Themeco Account by following the below steps.
- Delete the Cornerstone, if already installed
- After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be on the latest version
If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
We are currently updating our Professional hosting package so the newer versions of PHP such as 7.4 is unavailable. The most recent version we have on this package is 7.3
Can you check with the developers if this will work?
If it will I can deactivate Cornerstone from my end and if you grab a new a new version via your Themeco Account.
Thank you.
I would start by doing what Tristup has said if you’re getting this error. Did this happen on a fresh install? There is probably a file that was not uploaded to the plugin and a reupload will probably resolve this.
I will remove the potential for a fatal error here in a future release and give a better message then this. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, let us know if you have any questions.
Hey @DwayneFieldsWeTwo,
