Php Error line 98

Hi guys I have contacted my hosting Siteground to help me fix the issue you are all finding on my site.

here is the original post someone helped me before.
Demo Site not Installing perhaps on reinstalling something got lost. I don’t really know and need to make sure all is good before I migrate to my client’s server.

This is what my hosting suggested:

I will post a secure note with your credentials.
Thank you!

Hey @LucyKeile,

I checked your site and it looks like you are done designing it so I am afraid to do troubleshooting.

Can you confirm that:

  1. The problem is still installing the Agency demo?
  2. Can we test installing the Agency demo?
  3. Is switching to the parent theme doesn’t solve the issue?
  4. Does switching to the default WordPress theme and deactivating all third-party plugins solve the PHP warning? If the parent theme is active and there’s no third-party plugins, we will investigate the issue but if not, you will need to find out which 3rd party plugin is causing the warning.

Thanks.

No.

  1. The Agency demo is already installed.
  2. Do not install because I am still working on designing the site.
  3. Can I switch to parent theme?
  4. You I lose any of the work I have done so far? What should I do in this case?

Hello @LucyKeile,

3.) You are using the Child theme. Yes, you can switch back to the parent X theme. It will not affect your site.

4.) Switching themes does not lose any data at all. Switching themes is a way of troubleshooting to find out if the theme is causing an issue or not. You must also do a test for a plugin conflict by deactivating/activating the plugins one by one to find out if a particular plugin is causing the issue.

Hope this helps.

Ok so this is what I just did.

1.I activate the Parent X Theme

2.Deactivate all plugins ( I got a weird with just the header and a bunch of short codes)

  1. Activated Cornerstone and Revolution Slider ( all was good)

  2. Activated the Under Construction plugin - ( the warning php line 98 came back)

UPDATE: I just fixed. It looks like the under construction plugin was redirecting to page that wasn’t functioning.

Can you just take a look internaly for me that there is no mistakes… Please

How can we fix?

Hello Lucy,

I have just tried to set the under construction page to the 1962 page and it’s working fine on my end when I access the site when logged out:

Would you mind clearing your site’s cache then check again?

Thank you.

I had written: UPDATE: I just fixed. which was to correct making sure my under constructions wasn’t going to any page.

I will fix, please do not change as I do not want to be redirecting to any page. It will only show a white background and the have the words WEBSITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION .

@jade or @ruenel I am writing a secure note for you.

Hey @LucyKeile,

I have removed the screenshot in Jade’s reply now.

The warning message could be specific to your PHP version 7.3.15. If the error persists, please have your web host try PHP 7.3.13 which I’m currently using and I don’t see the warning in the debug.log.

Also, the warning message might have connection to the permalinks so please try resetting your permalinks by going to WP Admin > Settings > Permalinks and clicking the Save Changes button.

If none of that helps, we will need for you to set up another copy of your site and this time give us both WordPress Admin and FTP access of the new copy. This is because we will need to investigate deeper and that carries a risk of breaking your site. We need to find out what’s causing the warning in the Under Construction plugin.

Thanks.
