I just got a heads up from our web provider that they will switch over to PHP 8.0 in November and I am wondering if X and Pro are fully compatible with PHP 8.0.

I would suggest you please use the 7.4 version of the PHP that is currently supported. Please have a look at our version compatibility page to learn more about version compatibility.
