In the Muse theme, there is a page for “speaking-and-media.” There is a section entitled Recent Talks with a Slider and Slide Container. There is ONE slide there.
If I edit that slide, I can add a background, change the text, and include a link to a video.
But if I copy THAT slide/element to “Slide 2,” then a second slide does not appear in the Recent Talks section.
What do I need to change in order to have 2 or more slides in Recent Talks?

The slider doesn’t update because the Slider Container element is a Looper Provider, which means the slides are rendered based on the provided loop — in this case, a JSON containing entries for the sliders. You can verify this by editing the Slider Container, going to Customize , and checking the Looper Provider section. If you want to add your own slides, simply disable the Looper Provider or set it to Off .
