This is a flaw in the Mover template - below is the same issue I get and you can see it’s from your site. So unless I’m missing something, this verifies I didn’t accidently change something. I trusted that the template would just work.
One thing I wanted to do, but didn’t was to change the grid like changing columns, as follows: Have the text box (column) behave more like columns in “rows” such that it shrinks (and wraps) as the screen size shrinks along with the image column. Right now only the image shrinks. There’s a lot of padding in the text box that can be used on smaller screens for the image instead of being fixed for the text column. In other words, I would like this component to shrink gracefully, which it is not doing now. This is separate from the above issue.
Hey @mlbass,
The Block pair is using a GRID element. The tweaking of cell placement can be a bit tricky and may overwhelm you with how to set it up. We can edit the component and reset the placements to Auto on smaller screens. If you want to, I can make these changes for you. Shall I have it a go? Or you can just edit the component and set the placement like this:
Best Regards.
It would be great if you did it and explained what you did. I’m not sure why the Mover template default is to look like the phone screenshot I posted above. That is definitely not user friendly and wastes screen real estate and mobile is the last place you want to do that.
Hey @mlbass,
I went ahead and made the changes. Here’s what I did;
1.) I set the placement of the Content and Secondary Cell to “auto” on smaller screens:
2.) I then added some padding in the Content cell to give some space around the content:
This should now be displayed on mobile screens:
