Permissions to users limitation

Background
I just updated to Pro v2.1.0, X v6.1.0 and was glad to see that you now have added user permission settings.

However it is only possible to control the PRO functionalities for the user.

What I need
I am currently using the plugin “User Role Editor Pro” to control the user permissions for the whole wordpress backend where we can control the user access to: wordpress plugins, appereance, settings etc.

I was dissapointed to see that I cannot control the wordpress backend permissions such as: plugins, appereance, settings etc in the PRO user permission add on.

Can you please add more extensive user permissions in your add on so we can control other wordpress functionalities in your add on?

If you do we can completely disable our other plugin “User Role Editor Pro”.

Thanks for reaching out.

The permission setting is for the theme and its builder only. It’s not meant for site wide role and capability setup, each plugin and theme has their own role and capability and we only added a feature that let users control it (for our theme and builder). But it’s not to control role and capability of the other plugins and features as we can’t and shouldn’t control them since we don’t provide support for 3rd party plugin and features.

And yes, you should use dedicated plugin for that like User Role Editor.
