PayPal not working when Yoast SEO activated with Pro

We are working in our development site before launching a new website. Form my Dev team:

“I created a Paypal payment form that takes a user to Paypal to process the payment, and when they return to the site they should get a success message. But I can’t get the payment to process or a success message to display. I narrowed this down to an issue between the pro theme and the yoast SEO plugin. If I deactivate the yoast SEO plugin PayPal processes the payment and ninja forms display the success message. Similarly, if I change the theme and keep yoast SEO active it also works. But when using the pro theme and yoast SEO is enabled the user is taken to Paypal but the payment is not processed and they are just brought back to the form page without a success message.”

We need to understand about how this conflict and if there is a way to get it all working.

Hello Tricia,

Thanks for writing in! Please be advised that the Ninja Forms - Paypal Express and the Yoast SEO are 3rd-party plugins. We do not offer any 3rd party support. We highly recommend that you contact the creators of each respective plugins to make them aware of the current issue happening in your site.

Best Regards.

OK, I’ll try reaching out to them too.

We were wondering if it was a known problem with the Pro theme, though, and if you had recommendations or information to help with the theme conflict. It is related to the theme somehow because it works with other themes. Not sure if you have any recommendations related to that.

HI Tricia,

We don’t have any case the same as your experiencing. As you colleague said, since this is 3rd party integrations, it is outside the scope of our theme support. On the other hand, If you have any information coming form the plugins author, just let us know.

Thank you.
