Paypal code being stripped from html / raw content

Pasting the paypal code into the text editor (either through Wordpress or through a text element, classic or current), The code gets stripped from the text. Below is an image for how it looks in the text element editing in cornerstone.

But, when I go to the page, I see no button

You can see that the form is still there, but the paypal code is gone. I have seen other similar support threads that recommend using the classic raw element, but, alas, that does not work either.

The URL to the page is https://avpma.org/donate/. The website is part of a mulit-site Wordpress installation with heavy server caching that I am not able to access.

The full paypal code for the donate button is:

Thanks for your help.

AND, the pasted paypal code was ALSO TOTALLY STRIPPED from the post. Security?? What is up???

Adding another image of the classic raw element with the PayPal input code highlighted in the text editor, but nothing showing on the page.

Hi there,

Please try adding the code in a content area element and see it the code remains as is.

In case the issue persists, please provide us with the admin details of your site in a Secure Note.

Thank you.

The first image is from a content area element. The code becomes stripped on the front end, even though it continues to show in a content area element.

Hey There,

Thanks for updating in! Could you please provide the code in a secure note in your next reply? We need to check the code and test it in our local test server and see if this is a bug or that the code contains characters which is not accepted in WordPress for security reasons.

Thank you in advance.

I’ve sent the PayPal code in a secure note.

Hello There,

Thanks for sending out the code. I have tested it in my local testing server and it is showing up.

Please give us access to your site so that we can check your page.

Okay will do in a secure message

Hi There,

Thank you for the credentials, to confirm the very PayPal code on your page works on our end either on RAW Content element or Text element.

But, yes I see the code stripping issue on your site. So I tried to put the code in a Widget Area if I could do that, unfortunately, It does not work either. But this time instead of stripping the code the Widget Area does give an actual notice/error and does not allow to be saved.

So it seems this issue is not in Cornerstone, but something on your setup is doing it (Maybe one of the plugins). Please contact the site Administrator and let him know about this, maybe he/she can provide you a workaround.

Cheers!

Thank you. It is as I suspected. We have a rather complicated setup. I will check with my admin to see what to do about this.

You’re welcome.
