Payment & Estimation Discount before VAT

Hi there,

I am building a site for my client using xtheme pro, making him a demo site at the moment on my own website.

I have a really simple checkout for a course. He requests that “Can the discount be applied BEFORE the VAT? Otherwise it’s going to cause problems with VAT invoices.”

At the moment it is adding the course, then 20% for VAT and then discounting them, where I want it to do (product - discount) + tax.

Is this possible? If not can you please ask them?

Hi @ifkda,

I can confirm the discount is calculated after adding the vat/taxes. It seems there’s no options to go around this. Available conditions doesn’t include setup and there’s no option to exclude vat/field in the calculation. I will add this to our issue tracker for more clarification. If in case confirmed, it will then be forwarded to the plugin developer.
