Password protected pages

Hi, I have just started creating separate pages for some of my clients, I create workouts and nutrition plans and can update them as needed. I would like to have them password protected, so I began clicking the password protected box on visibility. But for some reason that works sometimes, sometimes it works perfectly, and other times it just takes the client to my homepage when they login. Am I doing something wrong? or do you recommend a specific plugin? I would actually prefer that they use a user name and password to login, but since everyone has a different workout/nutrition program their user name and password would have to take them to a specific page built for them.
Thank you.

Hi @matlachawellness,

Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Password protected page URL along with the password.

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hey @matlachawellness,

I tried to enter the password on your protected page several times but I don’t see the issue you’ve mentioned. Since they have different workout/nutrition programs the password protection implementation is correct to address your issue. I also check your backend settings and I don’t see any redirection that leads your customer to be redirected to the homepage.

Thank you.

is it possible that this issue would happen just on phones? I just tried it on my iphone and it did exactly what I am describing.

Hi @matlachawellness,

I have checked the page URL on my Android mobile phone and it worked perfectly fine. It seems that you are facing this issue only in iPhone, I would suggest you clear your phone and browser cache once and check if that helps. If not, please mention the Operating System version along with the Browser version to replicate it on our end.

Thanks
