Particles.js on background of elment

Hello
I was trying to use this http://vincentgarreau.com/particles.js/#snow as a background of a section.
Details below

I am wondering if this can be useful;

Hi There,

Yes, that tutorial might be helpful. Try the plugin suggested on the tutorial. Unfortunately, this function is not available by default on the theme and issues on it’s implementation is outside the scope of our support. As much as we always want to go and beyond and help you, that is a third party code and we don’t know how it works exactly. You may wish to consult a developer for further issues. Thank you for understanding.

Thank you! i just may need some answers as I carry on and experiment. There are two support threads already for this library on the old forum, but it’s on a slightly different case and I could not get it my case to work from those examples.

Thanks!

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! For the vey easy implementation of Particle.js, please follow the instructions from this page: http://cakewp.com/divi-tutorials/add-nice-moving-particles-background-effect/

For X theme, you will need to insert your ID of the section. In my case as an example, I have done this:

Hope this helps.

hi
It’s starting to work!

At first I could not get anything, so i created a new section (now the first) to make experiments.

By applying the id to the column as you had, and with a contrasting background, I was able to recreate the effect. I then added an image and lettering, and noticed that it still works, but the effect is applied to the very top, i.e. everything is behind’. The second section, which now features the logo as well and a dark burgundy background does not display particles.

At this point lets try to figure out why the particles are not showing up on the second main section? We can then figure out the transparency stuff.

THANK YOU!

Hi there,

As we would love to be as helpful as possible to our dear customers, this is indeed not related to our theme code or anyway near the out of the box functionalities of our product.

The customization can be done by you and we can only guide you through the steps to the limit of our knowledge.

I suggest that you get help regarding this from the developers of the JS plugin as they will be more qualified and faster to help you around that is.

Thank you for your understanding.

I do wish you guys recognized an opportunity to add a lot to the theme with relatively little effort. Even if you have reached the limit of your knowledge, you are in a much better position to reach a next level. The upside is that you get to open up this feature of modern web design for all X users. This is an uncommon chance to impress and it’s being passed right up.

Fixed, it was a simple z-index setting.

Hello There,

We appreciate your feedback. It has been noted. By the way, we are just glad that you have figured it out a way to correct the said issue. Thanks for letting us know!

Best Regards.
