Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '?', expecting end of file

Hi,
My site went down today with this on the homepage.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’, expecting end of file in /home/auminis7/public_html/wp-content/themes/pro/header.php on line 10

The backend of the site seems to be working fine but I’m stumped. Also, it may be a related issue but the theme section says that I’m missing my parent theme. I didn’t think that was the case but at some point things went missing. Could you help with this? Tried disabling plugins to see if there was a conflict, but that didn’t seem to do anything. I don’t really mess with PHP so I might do more harm than good if I go to tinkering with it. I will be happy to follow your direction however.

It’s also saying that there is an update but everything is up to date.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide! You guys/gals are the best.

Hello Sam,

Thanks for writing in!

I checked the website and could see the error message. Further inspecting the website I see that the problem was in header.php file of parent theme. In that following script was added which was causing the problem. Please see secure note for script.

I have removed the same and now website is working fine. Please make sure to clear cache so that the updated resource gets downloaded.

Thanks.
