Parse error; can't access Dashboard

I haven’t made any changes to my site in some time. Today when I tried to access the Dashboard I received this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home2/mbalex/public_html/totaltsupport.com/wp-content/plugins/optinmonster/OMAPI/Api.php on line 19

I haven’t changed a thing on my site. I note that there is a plug-in update pending but anything I click on: Customize, Edit Page, Update, etc results in this same error.

Effectively I am locked out of editing my site.

Help!

PS The front end of the site seems to be functioning fine. This is definitely something wrong with the editor

Hi there,

Based on the error, it seems to be an issue caused by the optinmonster plugin.

Kindly login through FTP and go to wp-content/plugins then rename the directory optinmonster then try to log back in to the admin area.
