Parallax Looks Different on Cornerstone vs Public Site

Hello,

I have a parallax image in one of my website sections. In Cornerstone it looks exactly how it should, but in the public site it looks different. I have cleared my cache and uninstalled all non-X theme plugins. Not sure what to do.

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, please check your content and make sure there is no broken any HTML tag in it. Also, make sure that all your sections have at least one row.

And if you’re using X, please make sure both X and Cornerstone are on the latest version. You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/)

If you don’t see anything unusual, please provide us the site URL and login credentials so we can take a closer look.

Cheers,

Hello There,

We were able to logged in to your site. The problem is that the given user credential has a very limited privileges. Please make it as an administrator so that we can edit a page and investigate further. By the way, please also indicate which page you are trying to edit and have been experiencing the issue so that we can take a closer look and resolve your issue.

Thank you in advance.

Ok. User role updated.

Hello There,

I have logged in again and looked for the page indicated in the screenshot above. I could not find it anywhere. Did you happen to delete or remove the page? Please provide us the page or url where we can find the section with the parallax image issue so that we can check that out.

Thank you in advance.

Sorry about that. I was making changes to that section. I put the parallax image back. It’s in the home page, section titled Eco Friendly Products.

Hi @dsilva512,

There is a broken HTML in your content and it affects the layout. The section 7 goes under the structure of section 6 when rendered.

Are you able to edit it in cornerstone? I can’t and seems down on my end. Please try deleting the page element one at a time while testing in the front. Then if it works, then the last deleted element is the culprit. And make sure to backup your content by saving it in your template, which you can then re-import later.

Thanks!

Thanks for helping me with this! Finally fixed it. Simple oversight on my end.

You’re welcome!
We’re glad we were able to help you out.
