Parallax in Pro using a Classic Section

I want to get the Parallax effect where you see the background image from bottom to top as you scroll the page. As you mentioned in a previous thread, in Pro I have to use a Classic Section. I did but it doesn’t work with Chrome and Firefox, just Edge. On Firefox it does work in the Pro Editor though. You can see the Classic Section titled “Winery” - third one from the top after Scratch Wines. All the others are Pro Sections.

Is there any way to make this work in Pro w/CSS? Make the image fixed and covering? I need to add a second layer to make the image darker and prefer not to do that in Photoshop.

Hey Mike,

I checked all your pages in the front-end and the only page I see having the issue is https://winewalkcarmel.com/wineries/. It’s the Scratch Wine section (see secure note). The issue is due to the Lower Layer Size set too low. You should set it at 150% to see the parallax effect.

You said in your first post that you’re using a Classic Section though. Would you mind giving us the exact page? Using the Classic Section, there is not way to add a second layer but you could try following this guide.

Thanks.

Hi @mlbass,

It’s a different site and not even made from X or Pro. I assume it’s your ideal site.

What we need to see is the URL where the parallax isn’t working, and please provide a video recording. Also, do you mean to increase the movement speed? I’m not sure if it’s possible. Let me check it first

Thanks!
