Pagination element not showing up

Hi

The standard Pagination element that comes with the archive page layout does not show up. This is an issue that appears the moment I choose an archive layout template, so this is before I have edited anything on the Posts.

Please see screenshot below:

You can see the Pagination element ‘ghost’ floating at the top left. It does not appear with the posts at all.

I have tried the following:

• Updating themes and plugins – the problem persists

• Deactivating all plugins – the problem persists

I know pagination only works under specific conditions on the archive page, but this is an archive page layout. What else am I missing?

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the Layout specified in the screenshot and found the pagination is showing properly. I have also created a test layout that also shows the pagination.

Hi, many thanks for getting back to me. I see the Pagination on your test layout, but not on the layout I was already using. I tried adding it and still can’t see it. Please see screenshot:

Please could you clarify what is different between the two? Is there a setting that needs to be changed that I’m not aware of?

EDIT: I see that the pagination sometimes appears on the page on the front end, but never in Cornerstone, making it very difficult to edit.

Hey @designbythink,

The pagination is just there on your News Archive Layout, see the screenshot below.

That being said, I highly suggest that you clear your browser cache.
