I use SEOprofiler to optimise this site’s SEO: www.emeraldsom.co.uk. Following the Website Audit, it identified that all the pages " uses the meta tag “viewport” twice on the page". Am I right in thinking this is something to do with the code, and therefore, how would I fix it?
Hi Nick,
I can confirm it was added twice on your site. Although on Pro it was added only once. You can see it here:
wp-content\themes\pro\framework\views\global\_meta.php
It might be added via plugins. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
It can also be added via child theme but I can see you don’t have a child theme.
Let us know how it goes!
Thank you! I’ll start testing with the plugins.
Yes sure, do let us know how it goes!
