The page titles, and the blog title are not showing for some reason. Even when I use default template, the page title will not show.
Hi There,
Thank you for writing in, this page is using Blank - No Container, Header | Footer http://www.build.jodiegearing.com/ blank template does not show title.
Also, make sure that the Disable Page Title option is not check.
Another thing, please audit your custom CSS, there might be a custom CSS that hides your page title.
Hope it helps,
Cheers!
Hey,
Thanks so much for your help.
I’ve checked the disable page title check box, but this is not ticked. The blog title is also not showing, which would seem to suggest it’s something other than the template setting? I’ve also checked the CSS and even tried removing all custom CSS altogether (temporally) to see if that worked.
Very odd - any other ideas?
Hi There,
The page & blog titles are displaying fine on my end:
Would you mind providing us with your screenshots how it looks on your end?
Thank you.
Hey Yea,
Thanks, the screenshot you’ve supplied is of the site when I restored the default header. I’ve just been through a process of elimination, and it’s got something to do with the Pro X Header Builder.
When using the header builder, the blog title disappears. Do you know if/how you can use the header builder, but retain the page title and blog title for pages where Cornerstone is not used?
Thanks again for your help.
Hey There,
Currently, the Header Builder does not include the possibility of designing a header in which the post/page title appears automatically.
Please try with this solution: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/renew-stack-title-breadcrumbs/23280/10?u=thai.
Let us know how it goes!
Hey! Thanks for all your help. I managed to get the page title to display on other templates (i.e blank - container - header - footer) using the solution you linked to. However, this only works if the Header Builder is not used.
The solution also makes the title and breadcrumbs show on cornerstone pages, which I don’t want - but I can get around this with the following css:
.x-header-landmark {
display: none;
}
Any other ideas to make this work with the Header Builder?
Thanks
Hi @mhenshall
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to quickly implement this feature into the theme header builder, it will require further theme customization which is beyond our support scope.
If they are just a few pages, then you can add a title manually for each page in the beginning of the page content, directly in the page editor.
Thanks.
