We run a lot of sites with X / Cornerstone, we are trying to download a page as a template then import it to another site - but we get an error that says ‘your file is not formatted properly’.
I spoke to our developer about this and they took a look - they said it seemed to be a common issue after the searched for the problem and suggested getting in touch.
How can we resolve this?

If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins.
If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. If you have a ConvertPlus plugin, try deactivating that first, and see if that resolves the issue, I’ve seen a similar issue like this and the culprit is ConvertPlus plugin
