I am working on this page: copilates.se
Mostly everything is working fine and we expect to launch the site within a few days.
However, this page: https://www.copilates.se/boka/ is extremely slow. I have tested on various browsers, ipads och phones and the page loads very slowly everywhere.
Do you have any idead why that could be? The other pages works fine.

I can see the issue. I think it was related to your server performance. Can you check in first with your hosting provider. See the performance log and then check if you are maxing out on memory.

Hi again. I have been in contact with the serviceprovider one.com and they cannot see any server related issues on this page. On this page I have a few ME Calendar shortcodes pasted. I wonder if that could have anything to do with the issue. I created a copy of the page copilates.se/boka - copilates.se/boka-test where I removed all but one of the ME Calendar shortcodes. This page, copilates.se/boka-test now seems to be much faster than copilates.se/boka so I am wondering if there is an issue with the ME Calendar shortcodes - perhaps I have used too many

We have no reported performance issue with MEC shortcodes. I understand that your web host said there’s no issue on their side but it’s not an answer if their server setup has performance issues or bottlenecks. I’d recommend that you test copying your site to other servers and compare the performance.

I have now copied the site copilates.se to copilatestest.jarvendesign.se and I am experiencing the same slowness with this particular page.
So, my guess is that this is related to the ME shortcodes placed on the page. Compare with https://www.copilates.se/klippkort/ which only have one ME Shortcode
According to metric this page takes 25 seconds to load compared to http://copilatestest.jarvendesign.se/om-oss/ which takes app 7 seconds to load

Yes, it’s indeed slow on my end too and probably the cause is MEC plugin. Have you tried disabling it and test it again? Please try a fewer calendar and see if there is a speed difference.

It seems like there is a difference to the ”main” booking site with a lot of shortcodes compared to this one: https://www.copilates.se/kommande-kurser/ which only contains one shortcode.
But disabling the plugin is relly not an option for us since the sites main purpose is to sell balett classes through the plugin.

Since the site relies on the plugin and page is slowing down because of the plugin shortcodes on the page, you may need to optimizing the loading of your resources. Please install Autoptimize and other 3rd party caching plugin like W3 Total Cache to make the loading faster. @Lely already pointed out the Youtube tutorial to improve your site’s performance.
