Page/post publishing - Scheduling public period

Hi,

Does anyone have an idea of how to automate publishing and unpublishing a page or post? The ideal thing would be to have a calendar in the page-settings where one could decide which period a page or post should be public.

I am asking because I need some posts and pages to be public, only in a specific period of time. I don’t see a plug-and-play solution in neither Wordpress or Pro :sweat_smile:

I know that you can setup conditions in Elements and Layouts that can decide the publish period for that specific Element or Layout. But if a Layout is being used for several pages (as in my case) I need to be able to decide the publish period for the page ifself.

Let me know if anyone has some ideas.

Thanks for reaching out.
You can schedule a post/page by adding the publish time to it, whereas there is no such option to schedule a unpublish for the post/page. You can find a free plugin from WordPress repository which may help you with this.

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

I am well aware that I can schedule a specific publish time… Unfortunately, the plugin you refer to does not have the ability to unpublish a page.

Still looking for a solution :slight_smile:

To create automate unpublish a post/page within a specific period of time would require customization. Regretfully, customization is outside the scope of our theme support. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.
