Hello There,
Thanks for writing in! Please ignore this error. It only appears in the test site but not in the live site. The test site does not load these resources for security purposes and that is why it returns as a redirection error. The test site is only allowed to load image, text and html resources. Any fonts, css or js resources were not allowed and it just returned as error.
Hope this explains it briefly.
Hi there,
I think I have got the same error: https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?hl=it&id=G9uiT_Q-DeLHoQgQH8YYKg&view=fetch-info
I’m just wondering: does this test affect the indicization of the website by Google or not?
Thank you very much
Hi Giacomo,
Thank you for writing in, no it does not, just like Ruenel said above, this errors only happen on the test but not on your actual live site.
Hope this shed some lights,
Cheers!
Hi,
I have the same problem. The page looks just fine on the mobile, but mobile-friendly Google test says that it´s not.
Actually, the Google Search Console alerted me about this problem, too. So this could be serious issue for my website´s SEO, right?
Hey @VaclavBazenov,
In addition to what @RueNel has said, out of the box, the mobile friendly test does not take into account of your site’s CSS and JS because usually, bots are blocked from accessing them including Google Bots. Unblocking Google Bot is something that is not a part of our support service. You should consult with an SEO professional for this.

I ran your site in the mobile test and this is the result.
That is not what your actual website looks with the scripts and styles completely loaded.
The “content wider than screen” also is most probably due to column animation which the test does not take into account because of the reason I’ve said above.
With that said, this is not an issue with the theme. The theme is responsive out of the box.
Thanks.
Thanks Christian. I´ve already checked the robots.txt file and all the bots on my website should have access to CSS and JS. Also, there´s only a problem with the homepage, the other sites passed the test just alright. I haven´t changed the website since April, according to the Search Console, Google sees the homepage as problematic only since July. Perhaps they have changed the algoritm for website mobile usability?
According to people who are having the same problem: “there seems to be no clear reason for it but appears to happen for heavy sites loading a lot of resources”. So, still, could it be the theme´s issue?
Are all the theme´s shortcode scripts and stylesheets being loaded even if they´re not present on my website? If so, is there a way how to unable it?
Thanks in advance.
Hi @VaclavBazenov,
Resources are not just coming from the theme, it could be from other plugins too. The best approach is to get an analysis report of what resources are being served that affects the loading of the page.
But since it only happens using that tool, then it’s not due to resources being loaded. Should the google refuse to load the resources just because they are heavy while it works okay on browsers? All scripts and CSS resources are loading just fine, except on that tool’s rendering hence there is no missing resources from the site.
May I know the URL that has this issue so we could check it as well?
Thanks!
Hi @VaclavBazenov,
I checked and it’s not because of heavy resources, your site even loads in 1 to 2 seconds on my end. Your site is simply blocking google from acessing those resources. I recommend contacting your hosting provider to see if there are security feature that blocks robots and crawlers.
Please allow the Googlebot smartphone
.
Thanks!
Just to let you know - the problem was not with the Googlebot, but with the theme itself. The CSS had to be adjusted to pass the Google Mobile Friendly test. You should probably check this problem and fix it in the next update.

Can you advise what you changed that made a difference? I’ve done some testing and I’m not seeing how this is related to the theme CSS at all. The sites I’ve tried don’t have styling issues.
