It just came to my attention that Google is rating my page as not mobile friendly. It says that the content is wider than the screen and the clickable elements are too close together. These do not appear to be the case when I view the site on mobile. Any idea what is going on here? Thanks so much!

This is most probably because of your slider. Please note that mobile friendly test does not take into account everything that powers a slider that is why you see negative results. BUT, you should not worry about that because that is only a general test. What you should look at and focus on is the actual page if something is broken on mobile because that is what real people see.
