Page not active in menu

Hey-o,

I added a collapsed navbar here:

visualstory.ca

However, although the dropdowns work (Media/Campaigns), the pages of portfolio & design are no longer clickable or active. They do exist as parent pages and can be manually typed to follow (visualstory.ca/portfolio).

Suggestions?

Hey Todd,

Thanks for writing around! To highlight the active links you can add the following code in the Theme Options > CSS:

.current-menu-item {
    border-bottom: 3px solid #8c1111;
    background: #bf4949;
}

To make the parent links clickable, try adding the following code in the Theme Options > JS:

jQuery(document).ready(function($){
	$('.x-off-canvas .x-anchor-menu-item .x-anchor-text').on('touchend click', function(e) {
		var link = $(this).parents('.x-anchor-menu-item').attr('href');
		window.location.href = link;
	});
});

The above code will make the parent links clickable when you click on the text, if you click on the dropdown arrow icon, it will open the submenu.

Don’t forget to clear your browser’s cache after adding the code. Let us know how this goes!
