Page modifications won't save: 'Uh oh!'

Hello

I’ve been having trouble saving changes I make to pages (headers and footers save just fine). I’ve tried upping the PHP and WP memories in the wp-config.php file. Alas, not to avail. For now, I’ve saved my designs as templates. Please try saving pages with those templates to make sure.

I will provide you with a secure note presently. I would be very grateful if you could fix this.

Hello Zineb,

Thanks for writing to us.

I tried to access your site but the given login details are not working. Please recheck and send us again. It might be the issue of cache it. I would suggest you please purge all the cache. I would suggest you follow these steps.

  1. Deactivate the default theme of WordPress and deactivate the Pro theme
  2. Delete the Pro theme
  3. Download the fresh copy of the Pro theme from the Themeco account dashboard
  4. Reinstall the Pro theme

If it doesn’t work, I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing For Theme Related Issue
  2. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  3. Theme Update
  4. Child Theme
  5. Css/Js Customization
  6. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  7. Disabling Cache
  8. Disabling Cdn
  9. Permalinks
  10. Version Compatibility

If none of those work, It would be best if you could copying your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • FTP Details

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Dear @prakash_s
Thank you for your quick response!
I’m sorry about the password mishap. I’ve updated the secure note on my previous post, if you would please check it out.
Thank you muchly!

I have tried disabling extensions and it seems the culprit is Yoast SEO Premium. Tough one. Do you know if there’s a way to fix the compatibility issue or do I have to find another SEO plugin?

Hi Zineb,

Glad that you are able to find the reason behind your issue. I would suggest you update the Yoast SEO plugin to its latest version and check if that resolves the issue.

Thanks
