My site has two pages; a home page and a posts page. I’ve deleted the posts page, but then created a new one. In fact, I have added a posts page several times and it doesn’t show up in the content area of Pro, even though when I Exit to Dashboard I can see it in WordPress. My hypothesis is that this is preventing the menu from displaying properly. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Sean,
As it can be assumed from your post that, you are not able to see the posts while you are opening the post page using the Content Builder. If that is the case, then the reason is that the blog/post page is the index page and does not have any options to edit with the Content Builder.
In the near future, you can have full control over blog layouts, posts, index pages, and archive pages using Layout Builder. More details about the Layout Builder was posted in our June Status Report here: https://theme.co/content/status-report-june-02-2020
And if that is not the case, and the post page does not come up with posts on your website, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
I couldn’t find the secure note but I did find a solution. I create a page that isn’t the post page and manually added my the default blog post there. Once I actually create posts, I’ll check again to see if I need to address the issue more directly. Thank you.
Hi Sean,
Great and just let us know how it goes.
Thank you.
