Page keeps going askew ie buttons and layout

Hi There

I am using X with advanced settings on. I have a new page which sometimes, after editing, everything goes askew ie the buttons do not show and are misplaced and certain items do not show.

If I go in and then resave the page it puts it correct again!

I have attached some before and after shots of the page. ( Cant do this as there does not seem anywhere to upload an image for you to see - is there somewhere I can let you view these jpgs?)

I will put the url in the next thread with the images as the page is not live yet.

Would appreciate your advice on why its doing this and if there is anything that I can do to stop it.

Hi Eileen,

I have gone through the given URL, but the issue you described is not found. Can you please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem?
Images can be uploaded through the Editor while replying. Please check the following screenshot.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Ahh Thanks. Here are the images. Its really weird as all buttons, videos are not shown properly

Thanks Tristup

Hi Eileen,

Is that what you are seeing in your Cornerstone page builder. If that is the case, it might be due to the improper update of the Cornerstone plugin. I would also suggest you follow the below steps while updating to the latest version of the Cornerstone.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone existing one
  2. After deletion please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.

I would also suggest you also clear the Style Cache from X > Settings > Clear Style Cache and update to check if the styles loaded.
If that does not resolve the issue, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi There

Thanks for that. However when looking in the dashboard I see no links to reinstall cornerstone. Can you be specific where this is as dont want to delete it then cannot find the reinstall.

Thanks

Hello Eileen,

I would suggest you take a backup of your database and WordPress files then delete the Cornerstoneplugin from the plugin list then you would get a notification on your dashboard like this from where you will be able to reinstall the Cornerstone page builder plugin.

Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

Hope it helps
Thanks
