Hi,
I have an english homepage (with Page JS) and the japanese translation of the homepage. Its has been duplicated with WPML from cornerstone. The problem is I can’t edit the japanese javascript (The page saves as usual and the javascript disappears).
Am I missing something ?
Hello @deciplex,
Thanks for writing in!
The JS script must be present in both the English and Japanese pages. If the JS script displays any text contents, you will have to translate the text contents of the JS to the Japanese page.
Best Regards.
Hi @ruenel,
I understand this part but the Japanese Javascript is not saving correctly. When clicking “Save” and reloading the cornerstone page, the javascript in the japanese page disappears.
Hi @deciplex,
There might be several reasons behind your issues, and it will be very difficult to recognize the exact reason without investigation. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.
1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue ** if you have activated it.
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN
If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
