Page flashes content before Slider Revolution loads

Hi,

I’ve added a Slider Revolution to our homepage and when the site is refreshed the content below the slider is quickly displayed before the slider has a chance to load. Is there a way to make sure the slider loads first so this display bug won’t happen? You can demo the issue here: http://moon-farms.jakealford.com/#

Thank you for your help!

Jake

Hi Jake,

Thanks for reaching out.

The loading of the slider, grid, and other plugins are not always in sync with other content. It’s because the rendering is done by javascript where the container has no dimension. The dimension is calculated once the resourced are loaded, and resources aren’t always loaded at the same time with the content.

Perhaps what you need it s a site page pre-loader, it will hide the entire page until all resources and content are rendered and loaded. You could use this https://tl.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smart-preloader/ but I’m not sure its full capability, it’s not our plugin.

Thanks!

Hi Rad,

That’s perfect! Looks a lot better than the glitching when it was loading. Thank you so much for the advice!

On behalf of my colleague, you’re welcome. Cheers! )
