Page Content Missing After Update

I just updated the site at MovieLaw.net. The headers and footers show, but all my page content in between is missing. I can see it in the regular WordPress editor, but the Cornerstone content does not display on the page. Any help would be much appreciated!

Feel free to open your own thread and we can help you out as well. If you’re still seeing that problem after updating, it would be helpful if you wouldn’t mind adding login credentials in a secure note when you open the topic. We can login and take a closer look at what’s going on. Thanks!

I updated to the latest release (I thought I had already done so). The menus are fixed, but the CornerStone content on the home page, about page and ask-a-question page is still missing. Any thoughts?

Hi @paulvaughn,

It seems that you are using the X theme version 8.0.2, can you try updating to the latest point release? Please let us know if this resolves the issue for you.
I would suggest you follow the below steps while updating to the latest version of the theme.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone
  2. Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
  3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the latest version

If that does not help and you are still getting the issue, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

I deactivated and deleted Cornerstone and then updated the theme again. I then reinstalled Cornerstone. I am still not seeing the Cornerstone content. I will provide the information in the secure note.

Hi @paulvaughn,

Thank you for your patience with this issue. I’ve logged into your site and updated it to the latest version which we just pushed out today. There were some additional discrepancies like it looks like you may have tried to use WP bakery in addition to Cornerstone on the home page at one point. I’ve corrected it as best as I know how at the moment, but I think at some point this site may have been migrated and the page builder content is missing (you can no longer edit with Cornerstone).
