I have a page which was edited in Pro and has 32 revisions all edited in Pro which is now completely blank and the Gutenberg editor screen is showing a “Classic” block with all the [cs_content] for the page. I have tried to restore to an earlier version but it stays the same. How do you recover this back into the Pro editor.

If you see the cornerstone shortcode in your Gutenberg block, you may try clicking the edit with Cornerstone and let see if it fixes your issue.
Please keep in mind that the content saved inside the Cornerstone cannot be edited outside the builder and vice versa. If that’s not the case on your end, you need to find a backup of your website where it is still working inside Cornerstone. Then follow the recommendation below:
- Find a backup where the page is still editable inside the Cornerstone
- Create a staging area
- Save the page as a template then export the page as a .tco file
- Import the template into your live website

Your suggestion was the first thing I tried and that’s doesn’t solve the issue. I have also tried restoring the page via Wordpress page revisions that fault is same. I have also looked into the post and post_meta table entries in the database where the post_content entry show “null”. At some point in the page editing history the database entry is wiped and becomes “null”. I have tried copying the information a previous post revision but this does not restore the page. I have recreated the page but think this issue needs further investigation as a solution to recover pages needs to be available.

Please note that if you edit a page that is created with the Cornerstone page builder and edit with another builder then it corrupts the page content. I would suggest you please restore the site backup or you may restore the database on the previous date.
