Page builder «The preview was unresponsive...»

Hi support. Since this morning I cannot edit my Pro page anymore. This is strange because yesterday everything was fine.

I can edit headers in the header builder, Footer and Glogal blocks normally.

The problem comes from the Revolution Slider plugin. If I deactivate it, I can edit a pro page in the builder.

Every page has a header with a Rev Slider into it.

I have set define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘1024M’ ); in the wp-config.php file and PHP memory_limit to 1024M in the cPanel of the hosting service.

I also had this error message in a WordPress error email:

Une erreur de type E_COMPILE_ERROR a été causée dans la ligne 52 du fichier /home/villestpascal/dev.villestpascal.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/revslider.php. Message d’erreur : require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/villestpascal/dev.villestpascal.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/revslider-front.class.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php72/root/usr/share/pear')

Thanks for the help.

Hello Philippe,

Thanks for writing in!

Which page you were editing when you encountered the issue where the page builder is unresponsive? I have created a test page and edit it in the builder. I could not replicate the issue by the way. Please see the secure note.

Meanwhile, the error that came from the RevSlider could be a missing or corrupted plugin file. I would recommend that you deactivate and delete the plugin. Once deleted, please go back to Pro > Validation > Extensions and install the plugin again. After activating the plugin, test the site and check if you see the error.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Hi @RueNel The page is the Homepage named Accueil in French. https://dev.villestpascal.com/pro/#/content/6166 I have 2 sliders in this page other than the one in the header.

I will try to delete RevSlider and keep you informed.

This is true that I can see your An X Test and the two other pages I made with Pro (Festivités and Disponibilité des équipements).

RevSlider deactivated > deleted > reinstalled > reactivated = same error only on the Accueil page

Hey @philippe,

I got the issue at first.

After I’ve set the JS of the three sliders in your home page to the body, the Content Builder worked.

For more details about the Slider Revolution setting I’ve tweaked, please see https://www.themepunch.com/slider-revolution/advanced-module-settings/

Hope that helps.

Thank you @christian_y problem solved. I will try to remember that fix. Thanks for the link too.

Have a good day great support team!

Glad we could help.

Cheers!
