Page builder not pulling up / reloading the page or article

Hello,

xpro: 5.1.4

This is a weird one and can’t find anything on the forum. It effects every page and post. Steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Create a new page
  2. Add a section, column, row, text element with any text you wish. SAVE.
  3. View the page on the front - can verify the text is there
  4. Go back in to edit the page … everything is gone, no section, no text element, nothing is there.

If i go and edit a page that already exists - and then go back to edit it - all the original sections, columns etc get pulled up, but anything new i had created is not there anymore.

I know it saves it, because i can see it on the front page, but when i go back into the page builder it doesn’t bring the new sections back since upgrading to 5.1.4 from build 4.7.x

So a bit more information in my own troubleshooting. This doesn’t appear to happen on a dev box that has all the same plugins. The dev box doesn’t use cloudflare and i do have a page rule that bypasses any cache (and can confirm its being bypassed) for the url domain.com/cornerstone/*

However, when i pull up the article in firefox i noticed that the sections loaded correctly. Sooooo…

  1. Is this a browser issue?
  2. is it a caching issue? - and more specifically … what would the url be that i need to bypass if its not just the cornerstone/* ?

This has been driving me nuts so i’ve continued my search.

I can now tell you 100% this is cloudflare. So I need to bypass cloudflare so i can edit my post and pages. I thought I did this following the rules set by themeco (https://theme.co/docs/site-appears-broken-after-updates) however this document does not reflect the latest version of v5 of xpro. The urls got changed from /xpro/ in the pagebuilder to /cornerstone/ and I make that change in cloudflare too but its still not working.

Can i get an update to this document and all the page rules needed to bypass cloudflare?

Hi @fxground,

Glad that you are able to find the reason behind your issue. The document on Cloudefare is already updated for the latest version. If that does not help you, I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
