Page Builder broken after update

I just installed the latest update 6.3.8 and since then the page builder is all broken I no longer see the images & text section. Custom Headline also seems to be a problem

Please follow up the steps below:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Go to X > Settings and click on the Clear Style Cache button.
  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  5. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  6. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  7. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.

Thanks for your quick reply.
We tried the procedure that you mentionned and we’re still facing the same issue.
We investigated futher and realized (after the update) it’s now WP Bakery the default page builder and not Visual Computer. It seems to be causing the issues.

Any reason why ?

We also realized that the “Custom Headlines” and “shortcode” are not supported in WP Bakery.

Please get back to us quickly so we can fix this critical issue.

Thanks for updating the thread.

Please make sure that under WPBakery Page Builder Settings > General Legacy X Integration is enabled and then check the page builder again.

In case problem is still there then please share website login details in secure note for us to take a closer look.

If that does not help, please give us WordPress Admin username and password too but please try the solution in described in the video first.
