Padding does not work in all sections

I use the cornerstone plugin. The padding and margin options don’t work at all for me in the “new” section element. They do work in “classic” element.

I can pull both the margin and padding options all the way back and forth without anything happening.

I could not replicate the issue on my end, it does work.

Can you confirm you are fully updated?

If you have any cache plugins make sure to flush the cache, also if that does not help, please try testing for plugin conflict by turning off all third party plugins.

If that does not help, please provide your WP Admin credentials in a secure note.

The problem occurs on the front page in the section called “Navigation”.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The margins and padding works in the section settings. The only problem is that the whole Cornerstone preview area is wrap with a div tag post-inner. To resolve this issue; please add the following CSS code in the X > Launch > Theme Options > Global CSS (http://prntscr.com/evui3r) or in the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit GLOBAL CSS

body .post-inner {
    padding: 0;
}

And if you want to remove the border around it, you may use this code as well:

body .content .post-listing {
    border: none;
    box-shadow: none;
}
