<p> or </p> hide text in pro editor

Hello,

When I use an updated Chrome Browswer to update my site, sometimes inside the Pro editors, the text disappears. I scoured this forum and found an entry that may point to it being a problem with

and

in the html of text boxes.

I tried deleting those in one section and the text appeared. However, I can’t make separate paragraphs without those being added automatically.

It’s very hard to edit the website like this. Is there anything that can be done?

Hey @Compassglcc,

Regretfully, the issue you described doesn’t happen in my test sites. It’s possible that there’s a 3rd party plugin that is causing the issue in your site. Please try out the solutions below first.

  1. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  2. Theme Update
  3. Child Theme
  4. Css/Js Customization
  5. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  6. Test different browsers and note if it works in other browsers. If it does work, it means there’s something in your Chrome browser that is causing the issue. It’s most probably some browser extension.

Only if none of that helps, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • URL of the affected page
  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password
