Overview names different areas

can you direct me to a tutorial on what the names are for the different areas (header, footer, masthead .x-header-landmark, .x-colophon.top etc. I am still a bit confused about the terms and where they go and where to find how to edit them). so, i am looking for a graphic where the different areas are marked and then with the word that goes with that area. thank you
