Overlay text without using background layer

I’d like to put text over the tan’ area of the two images http://tabano.kevinmatan.com [paper family being cut/ kid playing in leaves]. I’d like it to scale as well so it’s always in that general area of the image. although I don’t want to use the image as a background layer. I’ve read using background layers don’t scale well … is there some better way to accomplish this without using background layer of the image

Hello @kmatan,

Thanks for writing in!

The only way to accomplish what you have in mind is to create a section with two columns. You can set the background color of the left column to a tan color. Insert a text element in the left column and add your text. You will also need to edit your image, probably crop it like the one below and then insert it to the right side column.

Hope this makes sense.
