Over-sized buttons in Slider Revoulution After Update

Hi Xters…

Hadn’t messed with my website in half a year an the buttons in a slider did this after a series of updates… any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Basanta… Here’s the info you asked for. Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for providing login information.

I am not sure what happened during the update.

But you need to edit your slides and adjust your buttons again.

See Video - https://www.screencast.com/t/UKbzIFN13

Saw the video suggesting constraining the code boxes…but the issue may have more to do with maximum font sizes allowed which also changed (became larger) after the updates. Am thinking that the boxes may resize appropriately if this is addressed (already tried including maximum ‘text-size’ code in the frame, but maybe got it wrong.)

How to do this properly? Thanks!

PS Also tried re-identifying buttons as ‘small’ rather than ‘medium’… but this surprisingly seemed to have no effect.

Hello There,

I’ve taken a closer look and you are right. The font size changes and this was because of the default font size set in the styling which was included in the update. To correct this, please add the following CSS code in the X > Launch > Theme Options > Global CSS (http://prntscr.com/evui3r)

body .rev_slider_wrapper .x-btn {
    font-size: 16px !important;
    font-size: 1.0rem !important;
}

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi Xsters…

The problem that I was originally having was that the font size of the X-buttons used in the RevSlider were too big at larger screen sizes (the text and button sizes in mid-to-smaller resolutions were still correct.)

The fix above worked great at larger-to-mid screen sizes…

…but now the text and button sizes are too large on small screen sizes (resolutions.) Do you have some additional code that can be added to address this seemingly related issue?

P.S. the scale of these two pictures don’t match and the font size is actually now the same across all resolutions (i.e the fonts in the X-buttons used in the RevSlider no longer seem to be responsive at smaller screen sizes the way they were prior to adding the code above.)

Thanks Again…

Hi,

To adjust the font size on smaller screens, you can add the code below in Theme Options > CSS(global css)

@media(max-width:480px) {
body .rev_slider_wrapper .x-btn {
    font-size: 12px !important;
    font-size: 0.75rem !important;
}
}

You need to add this below the code provided above.

Thanks
