Orphan content - links added but still orphaned - what's wrong?

Hi,

I have 31 pages under orphaned content/pages in (? I have a swedish version…) in WP… I’ve checked my links in cornerstone and they seem fine but they are still on “orphan”. What do I do wrong? The following 14 pages are on the list

  • cookie-policy
  • om-oss
  • jobba-hos-oss
  • kontakta-oss
  • sok-bland-vara-truckar
  • https://www.truckreparatoren.com
  • laglyftande
  • mediumlyftande
  • plattform
  • ledstaplare
  • 3hj
  • 4hj
  • truckbatterier
  • truckutbildning

I’ve checked the links on the pages linking to these pages.

I’ve tried to go to the “link handler” and choose the page also -

still orphaned.

Please help what do I do wrong  ??

Thanks!

/Lotta

Hey Lottafixelius,

Page or post status issues are not caused by the theme but to be sure, please backup your site and install a free theme and activate it then check if the issue persists.

Please also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If you discovered the offending plugin, please contact the plugin’s support.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,
I’ve found a short term solution around this - if I use classic element raw - WP will count the links and regard them as non orphans.

So I think it’s something with Cornerstone new elements compatibility with Yoast Premium. You need to look into this… I would like to not having to use the old elements for this  don’t you agree?

Thanks!

Hi @Lottafixelius,

Ah, it’s because Yoast only analyzes the content of a page instead of the actual rendered page. And noted that, I added this to our issue tracker.

Thanks!
