Order of appearance of products on Shop page

Hello wonderful support team,
Right now, my products appear within each category according to the date of publishing. I would like to re-order the sequence of my products within each category on the Shop page.

I went to Appearance > Customize > Woocommerace > Product Catalog .
I selected "Default Sorting (custom ordering & name). I then went to each product and placed a number in Advanced section for “Menu Order”:

However, after placing the numbers 0 to 9 for the products (under category “Cakes”), the products still appear according to date, instead of the priority set by me. Is there something I am missing?

I’ve seen some of the forum threads on this issue, but don’t seem to find a solution. If you can point me in the right direction or advise me how I can effect the custom order, I’ll really appreciate it.

Thanks for writing in! The WooCommerce settings will not take effect because you have inserted and used the Slider to display the products. You need to edit your slider and change sorting option which is limited to the following:

Thank you @ruenel for pointing me in the right direction. Appreciate your going out of the way, although this is not a Themeco feature, yet you taught me where to filter the products.

We actually do provide support for Slider Revolution as it’s one of the bundled products.
