Optimize Slider Speed

Hello
Are you able to help me optimize the speed of the cornerstone sliders on the homepage of my site?

They seem to load very slowly on the page and do not change quickly enough in some cases.

Hey Lisa,

There is no speed option for the slider element. You might want to use Slider Revolution instead as it has speed controls. See https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/ for usage instructions.

You can change the speed that the slides change on the slider element in Cornerstone.

Beside that I am not sure what you are looking to optimize, please clarify.

Hi
I’m looking to optimize the elements of the page to load faster.

The page loads very slowly with the sliders almost unfolding like a scroll… is there a way to fix the way the content is being loaded on the page so it loads faster?

Hi there,

You could serve your images and other assets through CDN (eg. CloudFlare). And you can check it here https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/205177068-Step-1-How-does-Cloudflare-work-. You may use CF to optimize your site.

Plus, the slider effect is what makes it slower. How about using RevSlider? You could use effects and LazyLoader for much faster run time.
