Only One Page Giving Error Message in Cornerstone

Hello,
I recently updated X and Cornerstone and have been having issues. One of my pages called “Bookshelf” won’t load in Cornerstone. An error message keeps coming up saying “A conflict on the front end of your site has prevented the preview from loading.”

All the rest of the site loads just fine, though, it’s just this one page.

I’ve done some testing here and can replicate the issue, from testing on my development environment as well it appears to be related directly to sub pages, where parent pages work without an issue.

I tried to further debug on your server using FTP, but got an incorrect password error (I tried the WP Admin one as a specific FTP Pass wasn’t provided).

In the mean time, could you try enabling WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php set that to true and see if any errors output (not just warnings or notices).

So I am pretty inexperienced at all of this, but I think I was able to get into the wp-config.php file and change it to “true”. Nothing is different in Cornerstone though. The page “Bookshelf” is still showing the same message and the page “About Worship” is also showing the same message (it was doing that before I changed the wp-config.php file). The wp-config.php file is still set to true if you’d like to take a look. I will send a secure note with the accurate FTP information. Thanks!

It still isn’t working on my end. I cleared all my caches and restarted browser but it’s still giving the same error message. And now the Bookshelf page and also About Worship and About Prayer pages are all giving the same error message. Not sure why it’s working for you but not me? Thanks for your help!

So I can’t even pull up Cornerstone in Safari so I have been using Chrome. I cleared the caches again and now the About Worship and About Prayer pages seem to be working fine; I can get in and edit them.

But the Bookshelf page is still giving me trouble. When I try to pull it up, it gives me the same error message as before. When I click “Try Again”, it loads a page that just has the header, navigation menu and footer (all the content is missing). So I tried going through the navigation menu and I was able to get Bookshelf to pull up by clicking on it there but then I can’t edit anything in it; nothing happens when I click on the different sections or rows.

I don’t know what’s going on, but I really need to get into this and finish the editing I need done. I appreciate your help!

I am another staff investigating the issue. I tried editing “Bookshelf” page and I do not encounter any issues at all.

I noticed that you have Endurance Cache. You can check this in Settings > General. Please turn this off or just clear the cache. And then clear your browser cache also or use private browsing mode (Chrome’s Incognito mode) and test your “Bookshelf” page again. You should be able to edit after doing all that.

I am still having the same problem even after emptying all caches and trying Chrome’s Incognito mode. I’m going to try a few other things to rule some other stuff out. I will let you know if I am able to get the problem resolved. Thanks for your help!

Is it possible to test with another browser like Firefox ? So if there’s any browser caching related issues, that should resolve.
